These terms govern your use of underthesestars.in and any order you place with us. By using the site or buying a star map, you agree to these terms.
Under These Stars creates personalised digital star maps — artwork showing the position of the stars for a specific date, time, and place that you choose. The product is delivered to you as digital files. We do not ship any physical item.
You can order without creating an account. When you place an order, you provide details such as a date, time, location, name, and any custom text. You are responsible for making sure these details are correct before paying — your star map is generated based on exactly what you enter.
By clicking Pay to place your order, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, including how we process the details you provide to create and deliver your star map.
All prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR). Payment is processed securely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details.
Delivery is digital and instant, and our refund terms — including your one-time free re-creation if you are not satisfied or made a typo — are described in full in our Refund & Shipping Policy.
The star map you purchase is for your personal, non-commercial use — for example as a gift, print, or keepsake. You may print it and share it personally. You may not resell it, redistribute it commercially, or claim the underlying design as your own work.
The positions of the stars are based on publicly available astronomical data. The design, layout, artwork, and software used to generate your map remain the property of Under These Stars.
The website, its design, code, logos, text, and the name "Under These Stars" are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse them without our written permission.
You agree not to misuse the site — for example by attempting to disrupt it, access it through automated means without permission, submit unlawful or offensive custom text, or infringe anyone's rights. We may decline or cancel orders that violate these terms.
We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
We provide our product with reasonable care, but to the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for issues caused by incorrect details you provided.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order is the version that applies to that order.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
