Constellations are patterns of stars named by ancient astronomers — Orion, Ursa Major, Scorpius. The 57 most recognisable ones are drawn with connecting lines and curved labels. These patterns guided navigators and poets for thousands of years. You can toggle lines and labels independently.

About 30 famous stars get special treatment — Sirius (the brightest), Polaris (the North Star), Betelgeuse, Vega, Arcturus. They appear with a subtle spectral glow matching their real colour (blue for hot stars, red for cool ones) and a green label.

Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are at their exact positions, colour-coded by their real hues. The Sun appears as a glowing disc — even in daytime (because the universe doesn't care what time it is). The Moon shows its correct phase for your date.
